I thought I’d left construction. Turns out I never stopped building.

For years I was the capable one. The woman who could carry it — the family, the work, the business, the decisions, the version of me everybody had come to rely on. From the outside it looked like it was working. Inside, I was braced. Reading every room before I trusted myself. Quietly asking, is this it?

I’d become very good at holding a life together and very practised at not hearing myself inside it. I didn’t need more. I needed something truer. And I couldn’t hear what that was, because there was no space left to hear it.

So I did the slow, unglamorous work of locating myself again — beneath the roles, the old stories, the expectations I’d absorbed and never questioned. I stopped outsourcing the pencil. I started choosing from what was actually true for me, and building from there. Not a perfect final blueprint. The capacity to keep choosing as life and I kept changing.

igniteHER is the work I wish I’d had. It’s where women come back to themselves, reclaim their own authority, and architect a life that’s genuinely theirs — whether that looks conventional or nothing like it. A woman is allowed to question the plan. She’s allowed to change direction. She’s allowed to redraw the plans.

I’m a founder, a coach, a business owner, a wife and a mum. And a lot of what drives this work is simple: I want to reclaim in my own life what I don’t want the next generation to learn to abandon.
